I grew up during the...I think I must get this book. I grew up during the Civil Rights movement in the South, so I remember when "things changed". It was ok for me but my parents weren't so sure. I now have a precious, dear friend who is black. We have spent much time talking about race issues from our childhood and how we believe it affected us, even as adults.
